Bheemeshwari Fishing Camp" is located about 100 KM South from Bangalore on the Kanakpura Road laying between Shivanasamudhra falls and Mekedatu. Directions are well marked in the Highway and it's easy to reach the camp. Road that leads to Camp is good and last 30 KM is through a jungle road.
Bheemeshwari is bounded by beautiful valleys and a number of rivers and streams.
It is a perfect blend of Adventure Sports, adrenalin rush, natural splendours. The surrounding forest area houses a large number of Indian Wildlife Species. While trekking, if you are lucky enough, you can spot deer.
There are a number of wildlife trekking trail available for both beginners and professionals. The treks are divided into three categories—easy, medium, and tough depending on the distance from 4 km to 30 km.
My Experience:
We headed out on Kanakpura road (NH-209) at around 8.00 in the morning and made good time as the road was quite nice to drive on but there was heavy traffic so we had to travel for about 2 and half hour and reached there. We crossed quite a few water bodies with loads of lotus and lilies in bloom. The day was quite warm with a sunny blue sky.
At 10:30am, We reached Bheemeshwari Fishing Camp there we were welcomed by the camp management people with welcome drink then we curious to experience the adventures so we started with the following
- Burma Loops
- Parallel Walk
- Zip Line
- Net Walk

Then till we finish these adventures it was the time for Lunch so we rushed to a hut where the food was arranged by the management, There were a lot of dishes quickly we finished with the Food
and started to have some fun in water so we went near water and started with the Kayaking.

After the Kayaking it was the time for Coracle ride (One of the most thrilling part of the adventure).
